Great arm carry. This is the later version of Phantom Lady offered by Ajax after Fox dropped her several years earlier. She had five issues in the Ajax run before being dropped, presumably because the Comic Book Code came on the scene and made sexy heroines out to be a bad influence on teenage boys. In this first of five issues by Ajax she visits a little known country of Trangavania to have secret talks with the King there about U.S. trade relations with his country. The King's Prime Minister and Minister of Defence plot to prevent her from accomplishing her mission. She gets KO'd and carried to the Prime Minister's study to decide what to do next. She eventually wakes up, slips away, meets with the King, impresses him and the bad guys are deposed. I think the arm carry in this issue is the best she ever appears in, even if Ajax's version of her costume is a lot more conservative than Fox's had been. To me she is the best looking superheroine of the Golden Age of comic books.
